Country: This is the other side of Japan. The quiet, peacful side where you can really get a feel for how old a civilization the Japanese are. I enjoyed my trips out to the country side with My Japanese father Mr. Suzuki. He always showed me the most beautiful places in Japan and I am forever grateful and changed for that experience.
A very old style house preserved on a park on Shirow-Yama. Matsue and Sayoko Suzuki are sitting on the steps.

A gorgeous picture taken by Kimio on Shirow Yama.

My Japanese Sister Sayoko is also a gifted artist. I think she thought it was funny that I drew Manga style. She is skilled more in the classic forms of art. This picture was taken in early spring..the Sakura blossoms are beginning to show.

This is a temple in Ueno park. Notice the smaller structure in front of the temple. This is where you would wash your hands and mouth before entering the temple.

Here I am feeding pigeons in Ueno Park. About 2 seconds after this picture was taken I faked like I was going to snag up a pigeon in mid feeding frenzy...and actually did. Scared the hell out of me and the pigeon. I thought my buddy Eric, the camera man was going to pop from laughing.
